Caerphilly Castle

Good for Castles

The world is waking up to the presence of this massive 'sleeping giant' of a castle which effortlessly dominates the town of Caerphilly.

One of the largest medieval fortresses in Britain. Concentrically planned, the rings of stone and water defences are formidable even today.
